Augartenhotel

Amazing Great place for families

Petit dejeuner un peu court en variété

The idea to mix an art exhibition with a hotel is really interesting and brings the experience to a whole new level. I have not been to another hotel with so much art. Appreciate it. Now let's talk about practical things. Price is relevant for what the Augarten art hotel provides. It is located very close to the city center and there is no need to use public transport. We recommend climbing the hill with a clock :-) and after spending a decent amount of calories to visit El Gaucho restaurant for a really good steak /see my review/. Please note that my family did not book breakfast because we stayed just for a night. It is a dog friendly accommodation. The price is extra 25 eur, which i find fair. Service was very good. We had difficulties parking our car because there were bicycles on a platform and a kayak on the top. Hotel employee came and helped us find a secure place for our car within the hotel area which was very hospitable. Rooms are very spacious. There was an equipped kitchen if you wanted to prepare food on your own. The air conditioning was excellent. These days are very hot in Europe and the hotel was so kind to make sure we arrive at pleasantly cold premises. What I did not like is something strange related to the bathroom and the separate toilet room. So, it is a good thing the toilet is in another premise, but why is there not any sink/tab so you can wash your hands before and after you visit the toilet.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, the breakfast was excellent, and the spa area was beautiful, well-maintained and very clean. These are definitely some of the hotel’s strongest points. However, there were a few things that affected our overall experience. The building itself is old, which would not be a problem in itself, but unfortunately it made quite a lot of creaking and cracking noises during the night. These sounds were surprisingly disruptive and made it difficult to relax and sleep properly. For a hotel that focuses on wellness and relaxation, we consider this a significant drawback. The layout of the apartments was also somewhat unusual. Guests staying in the apartments have to leave the main building and access their accommodation through a separate entrance, staircase/fire escape or lift. This was a little inconvenient, especially when going to breakfast or using the spa. During our stay, one of the lifts was also temporarily out of service. The parking situation could also be improved. Parking is not included in the room rate and the additional fee is quite expensive. Despite these drawbacks, we left with an overall positive impression thanks to the exceptionally friendly staff, the excellent breakfast and the high-quality, clean spa facilities. Addressing the issues mentioned above would make the stay considerably more comfortable and relaxing.

Toller Service! Danke

Has a nice size indoor pool. Fitness center has most exercise equipment you would need. Sauna and steam room are great. Rooms are good size with kitchenette. They also have terrace or balconies. Near restaurants, stores and other sites. Plus the room rates are great. A perfect hotel in so many ways.

Preis-Leistung tiptop

Nice hotel. Very friendly staff. Clean, nice balcony.

I really liked the hotel. The interior is very elegant, everything is super clean and new. The pool and spa are also spotless and peaceful, love the design. Workers are friendly and helpful, especially the brunette girl from breakfast :* The food itself is delicious and very good quality. I’d definitely recommend the hotel. The only con is the parking not being included in price.

10 min from downtown, new, clean, spacious apartment @ 5th floor

Loved staying here for the modern, contemporary, sleek art vibe! Very cool space, amazing staff, convenient parking garage, good location and comfortable room. You're surrounded by art...can't go wrong!
